Second Chipman Baptist is a Canadian registered religious charity. As such we preach the spiritual teachings of a religious faith … providing instruction, carrying out pastoral or missionary work. We exercise a Christian care over one another, cultivate Christian sympathy in feeling and courtesy in speech, participate in one another’s joys and bear one another’s burdens and sorrows.
We reference the Bible as the central text for our church. We believe, affirm and seek to follow the Bible’s teaching and make it relevant to our society today. We seek to grow in understanding its message, more consistently practice its teaching and encourage one another to live in a way that is honouring to the Lord.
Our mega goal is to promote inter-religious dialogue between the main world religions in an open and friendly and informed format.
As a missional church, we care not just for those “in” our walls, but reach out beyond them.
We do our best to connect people to God’s mission through diverse avenues of discipleship. We have developed online educational programs that we offer to the Filipino-speaking people of both the Chipman community and across the globe.
